This entire site was a lark.  I was initially going to load my festival page to Geocities (ads and all) and call it a day.  However, the muses had other plans.

Over the course of several AIM/Undernet conversations, I discovered that while victoriawinters.com was taken, victoriawinters.net was open.  Acting on a dare in February 2003, I grabbed the domain.  I am currently hosted by Dreamhost.com and love it.  FTP is a breeze and there is more up time then down.   I highly recommend them.

I have learned so much about making web pages by preparing this site.   It was a great challenge for me.  Along the way, I have also had the pleasure of making new friends and deepening old relationships.  It has been such a rewarding and rich experience for me.  After having to give up my music career for health reasons 10 years ago, my creativity has finally found an outlet.
