Ursula Burton is the newest member of the Dark Shadows family. She plays Susan Griffin in episodes one, two and four. Not only is she a really good voice over actress but she is a very lovely person. I was able to speak with her at length about Dark Shadows and the Los Angeles fan club. She brought along her husband Darren and little son Dashell. (I hope I have their names straight. I'm really bad at them especially without benefit of notes after the fact.)

There wasn't much of a crowd there. I was disappointed with this. I think the fans are doing themselves a disservice by not showing up and supporting our stars at these events.

I spoke with Scott Alan Woodard about his writing experience. He has done two other Big Finish scripts, both for Dr. Who. I told him I liked his episode the best with the various twists and turns plus the big cliffhanger at the end. Good stuff if you ever get to listen to it.

Finally, I spoke to Kathryn Leigh Scott about the Fest. She has heard nothing and doesn't think anything is being planned. She does have interest in continuing them. We can only wait and see what is up on that end. It is entirely possible they are planning something and not even the stars know about it. Meanwhile, it was very nice of them to sign the CD covers for us with no requirement to have purchased them at Dark Delicacies. They have been very sweet to us this way. It's too bad they didn't have a small size shirt for me to buy.
