David Selby to Receive Honary Doctorate
West Virginia University (WVU) announces that David Selby (Quentin - 1966-1971) will be delivering the Commencement address at West Virginia University's graduation on May 16 at 1:30 PM. David is originally from Morgantown and graduated from WVU with a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree. He received a Doctorate from Southern Illinois University. Thus, this is his second doctorate.
His honorary Doctorate will be in Humane Letters.
From, now on he shall be referred to as Doctor Doctor hotty!
PRNewswire has announced the nominees for the MTV Movie Awards. Kelly Hu has been nominated along with Hugh Jackman for Best Fight for their work in X-men-2, X-men United. The MTV Movie Awards Airs on June 10th at 9PM (ET/PT) on MTV.
Alec Newman (Barnabas 2004) will appear as Drogyn on Angel. The episode is slated to air on May 12, 2004 on the WB. Drogyn also appeared in the Angel episode, "Hole in the World."
Two new actors have been hired for the 2004 Dark Shadows. KELLY HU will be playing Dr. Julia Hoffman and MICHAEL D. ROBERTS will be playing Sheriff George Patterson. The roles of Maggie Evans, Sam Evans, and Sarah Collins will be a part of the Collinwood canvas. Due to time constraints, they will not be appearing in the pilot as originally scripted by Mark Verheiden. Should the show be picked up in the fall, you'll be sure to see them.

KATE JACKSON will appear in two episodes of "Third Watch" on April 23 and April 30. "Third Watch" appears on NBC on Friday at 10 PM PT.
MARSHA MASON is set to star as Mary Lou O'Brian in "The Long Shot" on the Hallmark Channel on April 18 and repeating on April 21. "The Long Shot" is on at 9:00PM ET. Julie Benz (Darla-Angel & Buffy the Vampire Slayer) is also set to appear. She talked about this at the Sci-Fi Grand Slam. Christopher Plummer to Star in Dan Curtis Directed Production
Christopher Plummer has been cast as Boston's Cardinal Bernard Law in the Showtime movie, "Our Fathers" about the Catholic Church pedophile scandal. It is based on David French's book "Our Fathers: The Secret Life of the Catholic Church in an Age of Scandal." Cardinal Law resigned amid the furor. The show plans to depict the controversial subject from all perspectives. Dan Curtis is set to direct.
